We gave away $5k to one of our GoodMates!

At RoomMate Cabins, we love giving back to our communities through our GoodMates programme – which is why we run a giveaway every month just for our customers, past and present. It’s our way of saying thank you for choosing us as your rental cabin supplier and being part of our GoodMates crew.

Our most recent giveaway was a massive one with an equally massive $5k cheque and we’re so stoked to share that the lucky winner was Amanda from Auckland! Amanda rents one of our standard RoomMate cabins and was completely taken by surprise when we called her with the good news.

“I was at the doctor’s when I got the phone call,” Amanda told us. “It made me cry and I was a bit shell-shocked for a couple of days.”

We were over the moon to be handing over the prize right when it mattered most. Amanda said she plans to use the money for her family:

“My kids have planned shopping sprees and much-needed stuff that me and my children need.”

We couldn’t be happier to see the prize go to someone so deserving. Congratulations again to Amanda and her whānau and thank you for being part of our GoodMates crew.
