July Holiday fun at Butterfly Creek
Spend time at Butterfly Creek these school holidays to discover fascinating animals and exhibits, a brand-new adventure playground, and maybe even spot some Kiwis in the Kiwi Forest!
Butterfly Creek has heaps of events on throughout the holiday break, including crafts, facepainting, entertainers and animal encounters.

Dive into the world of LEGO
Bricks4Kidz is hosting LEGO workshops at the Milford Centre over Auckland school holidays and they’re FREE! Kids can use their imagination to build LEGO creations that will be brought to life through motorised motion.
The sessions are 45 minutes, and each child will receive their own LEGO kit to build. The workshops are suitable for children aged 5 – 12 years old and bookings are encouraged.

Brilliant Seabirds at the Maritime Museum
Take your family along to the Maritime Museum in Auckland and explore the world of seabirds!
You’ll learn fascinating seabird facts, create your very own seabird masks and discover the brand-new exhibition, Sentinel, where science and art intertwine.

MOTAT Museum School Holidays Experience
Looking for hands-on activities to keep your Tamariki busy over the Auckland school holiday break? The MOTAT Museum has fantastic events planned that are available across both MOTAT locations.
Kids will have the chance to design stunning whetū (stars) in the Science Alive Te Manawa Magic Box and check out the interactive Solar Tsunami exhibition in the Discovery Dome. Plus kids can play with light, colour and energy in the Te Puawānanga permanent science and technology centre.
