How it Works

#3 Check Availability
Submit your contact details in our simple online enquiry form and your local team will be in touch .
#4 Check your site details
If the rental cabin is available, we will check your address on Google Maps for access and arrange a site visit if required. At this stage, if we are unable to deliver by trailer and a Hiab is required, we will inform you of the additional costs.
#5 Confirm your booking
You’ll receive a simple online contract to confirm your hire and delivery date, then an invoice will be emailed for payment prior to delivery.
#6 Cabin delivery
Your RoomMate Cabin will be delivered and set up by our expert delivery team.
#7 Weekly, fortnightly or monthly payments
Payments will be arranged with your local supplier via direct debit, automatic payment or redirection.
#8 RoomMate GoodMates
For the duration of your hire, you’ll be part of our GoodMates community and you will go in the draw for monthly prizes.
#9 Returning your RoomMate Cabin
Get in touch with your 14 working days’ notice, then we will arrange the pick-up of your RoomMate Cabin when you no longer need it.

What size are RoomMate Cabins?
You can rent a cabin in 3 different sizes from RoomMate – standard (3.6m x 2.4m), large (4.2m x 2.4m) and extra large (4.8m x 2.7m).
How long can I rent a cabin for?
As long as you need the extra space! We have a minimum rental period of 6 months in most of our locations – but check with your local supplier.
Who can rent a cabin?
Our cabins are available to rent all across NZ at affordably weekly rates. We also provide WINZ quotes on request.
