At RoomMate Cabins we build relationships by building trust. Our foundations are built on integrity, honesty, honouring commitments, and putting people first.
Our portable cabins are top-quality products and are a flexible and affordable solution to your space requirements.
And our high standard of service set us apart from the competition. That’s why we make it easy for you to rent your very own cabin. It’s as easy as 1,2,3…
Step 1: Contact our team
We have tried to make it as easy as possible to contact our team! You can call, text, or email us at any time, we’d love to hear from you!
We’re located all over New Zealand, and we’ve got a cabin supplier near you. From the top of the North Island to the bottom of the South Island, and everywhere in between.
But to help you out we’ve created an online form to help you find the right supplier, simply enter your address in the search field and you’ll be taken to your nearest supplier.
Step 2: Choose a size
We make sure every RoomMate Cabin is built to perfection, providing you with the warmth, security, and safety that you expect when you rent a cabin for some extra space at your place.
Sometimes one size doesn’t fit all, and that’s why we have we have a couple of cabin options. Choose from our standard cabin (3.6m x 2.4m), or a large one (4.2m x 2.4m) and we’ll do the rest.
Our different cabin types have many of the same features, they are built at full head height, with large windows to let in the light. They also feature modern LED lights, curtains, and carpeted floors. Outside there is a deck with an overhang roof to protect from rain.
Some of our suppliers also carry an extra-large option at 4.8m x 2.6m.
Step 3: Await delivery
Once we have your address and payment confirmed we can deliver your portable cabin straight to your place.
RoomMate Cabins are delivered on a custom-built tipping trailer. If we can get our trailer to your site, we can deliver your cabin! If we cannot get our trailer to a site, we can often arrange for a Hiab (truck crane) to lift the cabin into place (which adds to the cost of delivery).
The cabins can be rotated and moved about on steel poles as they are built on skids attached to a steel base, not on wheels. This means that RoomMate Cabin suppliers can get your cabin into tight and tricky places that other suppliers cannot.
It also eliminates the need for a big step to get into the cabin and provides a more stable platform for your new space.
Once the cabin is in place, it’s up to you to determine how to make the most of it! We’ve got a few ideas that we can share.
