Thinking about getting a rental cabin but not sure how it all works? You’re not alone! Some of the most common questions we hear are: Can you deliver a rental cabin anywhere in New Zealand? Are you able to deliver over a fence? And how do I know what cabin size works best for me?

Having a cabin delivered to your property can feel like a big step, and that’s why we’re here to talk you through the whole process. Here’s 5 things to know about getting a RoomMate Cabin.

Find your local RoomMate Cabin supplier

We deliver cabins from the very top of Northland right down to the bottom of Southland. Simply pop your address into our location finder and we’ll point you straight to the closest supplier in your area. It’s that easy!

RoomMate Cabins come in three sizes: Standard, Large and Extra Large.

A great place to start is by looking through our floorplans to see what you’ll want to fit inside the cabin. If you’re still unsure on what cabin size will work best, have a chat to the RoomMate team for recommendations. They’ll also let you know which cabins are available and what the cost looks like.

Cabin Delivery

When you order a cabin, the team will chat to you about where you’d like it delivered and what your site looks like. If it’s a tricky spot, like up on a hill or tucked behind a fence, the team will arrange a hiab delivery to make sure your cabin gets in safely and without any stress.

Regular payments

Payments will be arranged with your local supplier via direct debit, automatic payment or redirection. We’re also WINZ approved and our team can chat through this if you’d like to find out more.
